Investment Team

Alastair Kilgour
Before co-founding Parkwalk in 2009, Alastair was a Partner of Lazard LLP, Director of BNP and a Founder Partner of Ark Securities.
He has analysed and advised both private and public companies on strategy, development, fund-raising and exits. He was on the advisory team that listed Genentech and Biogen in London, two of the first ‘pure’ University spinouts in the 1980’s and sits on various portfolio company Boards.
Alistair is the Chief Investment Officer at Parkwalk.
Moray Wright
Before co-founding Parkwalk in 2009, Moray spent over 20 years working for Hoare Govett, JP Morgan, Lazard and Mirabaud. He has helped advise companies on acquisitions, fund-raising, restructuring and strategy.
Moray headed up the trading activities at Lazard Capital Markets and has a wealth of experience with corporate and institutional clients.
Moray sits on the Parkwalk Investment Committee, various portfolio company Boards, and is responsible for raising Parkwalk funds. 
Enrico D'Angelo
Enrico qualified as a chartered accountant with Price Waterhouse before working for Clifford Chance, JP Morgan and Merrill Lynch where he worked in COO, CFO and strategy roles.
Enrico sits on the Parkwalk Investment Committee and various Parkwalk portfolio company boards.
Neil Cameron
Neil was a worldwide Partner at Arthur Andersen where he was responsible for the Process Division, the Change Management Division and the Supply Chain Service Line.
Since leaving Andersens, Neil has established and advised a number of companies including Fuel 3D, and he specialises in strategic advisory work. Neil sits on the Parkwalk Investment Committee and various Parkwalk portfolio company boards.
Alun Williams
Before joining Parkwalk as an investment director in 2011, Alun spent 20 years managing debt capital markets at Natwest Markets (now part of RBS) and Royal Bank of Canada.
Alun sits on the Parkwalk Investment Committee and various Parkwalk portfolio company boards.
Martin Glen
Before joining Parkwalk as an investment director in 2016, Martin was a hedge fund manager for 15 years. He has been an extel-rated analyst and an investment banker at various institutions including Lazard and Jeffries.
Martin sits on the Parkwalk Investment Committee and various portfolio company boards.
Steve Churchhouse
Steve is a Parkwalk Entrepreneur-in-Residence. He is currently Chairman of Parkwalk portfolio company GeoSpock and Techjet Aerofoils, a Rolls Royce / UTC joint venture with ~$100m turnover. He is a Member of the Strategic Advisory Board, School of Business and Economics at Loughborough University. He spent many years with Rolls Royce,  and was Director, Digital after being Director of Corporate Planning. Steve gained a PhD at the University of Cambridge before studying at the Goethe Institute Berlin and the Said Business School at the University of Oxford.
John Pearson
John has worked in equity investment for over 20 years with experience both on the advisory side as Head of Global Capital Goods equity research at Merrill Lynch and, on the fund management side, as a Partner at Adelphi Capital LLP. John has a Double First in Engineering from St John’s College, Cambridge and an MBA with Distinction from INSEAD.
Ian Broadhurst
Laterly Ian worked in the Private Wealth Management units of BNP Paribas and Prudential Bache as an equity analyst for ten years before joining Parkwalk. He holds an MBA from Cranfield and over a long career has worked as both analyst and fund manager.
Ian sits on the boards of various Parkwalk portfolio companies.
Bill Westwater
Bill is a Parkwalk Entrepreneur-in-Residence, providing advice to our portfolio companies as they define commercialisation strategy, explore corporate collaboration options and accelerate through demonstrator, production and deployment phases.
Bill was CEO at Xeros Technology Group plc for seven years, taking the company from a standing start in a University of Leeds laboratory through to global sales, IPO and a market cap in excess of £200m.
Mark Whittaker
Having spent 15 years at UBS, Mark moved into private equity and venture capital in the early 2000’s.
He manages a portfolio of companies and advises the world-leading Royal College of Art on the RCA Angel Club.

Investor Relations

Chloe Richardson
Chloe is Parkwalk’s office manager, she and her team manage investor relations, on-board clients, process EIS3s and liaise with investors, their advisers and wealth managers.
Before Parkwalk, Chloe worked for a technology company after graduating from the University of Southampton.
Olivia Goodchild
Olivia works with Chloe on-boarding clients, processing EIS3s and liaising with investors, advisers and wealth managers.
Before Parkwalk, Olivia worked in the Oil & Gas industry after graduating from Brunel University.
Lillian Moreira
Lillian works with Chloe on-boarding clients, processing EIS3s and liaising with investors, advisers and wealth managers. Lillian has a degree from the University of London.

Operations

Kathy Samii
Kathy is Parkwalk’s Chief Operating Officer and Compliance Officer. Before joining Parkwalk in 2016, Kathy held COO, CFO and Compliance roles at a large event-driven hedge fund. Kathy previously worked at Schroder Salomon Smith Barney / Citigroup and Merrill Lynch.
Claire Pardo
Claire has 10 years’ experience of corporate and commercial law, latterly at Withers LLP. She gained an MSci in Physics from Imperial College, London with 1st Class Honours before converting to Law and was called to the Bar in 2005.Claire manages Parkwalk portfolio company investment documentation and commercial agreements.

Board

Gordon Lawson
Gordon joined Parkwalk as Chairman in 2015.
He has 30 years City experience, latterly as head of equity proprietary trading and EMEA equity, derivatives and convertible bond risk at Salomon/Citigroup and then as the founder of Pendragon Capital, a large event-driven hedge fund.
Gordon is an adviser to several hedge funds and sits on the Advisory Boards of several companies and funds, including Bridges Ventures, a highly successful sustainable impact investment fund.
Mike Townend
Mike joined the Parkwalk board in February 2017. He has been on IP Group’s Board since 2007, coming from Lehman Brothers where he was Managing Director of European Equities and Head of Equity Sales to Hedge Funds. He has 17 years’ experience in all aspects of equity capital markets and the investment process and was also a key member of the senior relationship management programme at Lehman Brothers. Mike has sourced, co-led or led numerous private and public transactions. Mike is the IP Group representative on various portfolio boards.
