We are delighted to announce that the University of Oxford Isis Fund II was launched yesterday at the offices of Brown Rudnick in London.

Managed in conjunction with Isis Innovation, the University’s Technology Transfer subsidiary, the University of Oxford Isis Fund II offers alumni and investors the opportunity to invest in companies formed to develop and commercialise technology and intellectual property developed at the University of Oxford in a tax efficient manner through the EIS.

There has been considerable interest in the Fund, and the University of Oxford Isis Fund I closed in a short period of time after becoming over-subscribed.

The Fund will be relatively small, and therefore priority will be given to existing investors and alumni and there is a possibility that investors' indications of interest and/or subscriptions may be scaled back.
